Obituary of JORDAN – Dolores Ruth

February 9, 1930 – June 7, 2011 Dolores Ruth Jordan, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Dolores was predeceased by her mother, Matilda (Jordie) and father, Robert Jordan. She is survived by first cousins, Delphine Purdy and Brian Ehly. Dolores was born in Calgary and raised for most of her formative years in and around Grande Prairie, AB. She lived briefly in Vancouver, B.C., where she was a Flight Attendant. Upon her return to Calgary, Dolores excelled at executive secretarial positions until her health led her to retire at an early age. She will be loving remembered for her courage and strength, sense of humour, delightful smile, and friendly personality. Dolores will be dearly missed by her close friends and caregiver, Karima. At her request no funeral service was held. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Calgary, AB. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
