Obituary of ULMER – Hermina

September 30, 1953 – June 3, 2011 After living a wonderful life that enriched the lives of many, Hermina passed away peacefully on June 3, 2011 with her cherished husband, Ralph at her side. She is survived by the “tiny love of her life”, grandson Grayson; step-son Shaun and his wife Sonia; sister-in-law Betty; brothers, Dick Pluimers and wife Marilyn, George Pluimers and wife Carol, Al Pluimers and wife Kathy; sisters, Jane Vanoosterom and husband Rick, Yetty Bondy and husband Jim and Dorothy Pluimers; brother-in-law Calvin Ulmer and wife Shirley; sister-in-law Lorraine Ulmer and partner Bill Allan; and numerous nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as Aunt Mien. Hermina was predeceased by her parents John and Hermine Pluimers and brother John Pluimers. While her life was cut short, Hermina lived life to the fullest, sharing her love of family and friends. After retirement her love of learning culminated in achieving her PhD in 2006. A Celebration of Hermina’s Life will be held at Hope Lutheran Church (3527 Boulton Road N.W.) on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. and the Church of the Epiphany, Main Street in Kingsville, ON on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 (time to be determined). Graveside Service will be held at the Neudorf Cemetery on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
