Dear Ron & Family
Words will never express the sadness I feel for you and the loss of Karen. Although I never got a chance to meet her personally, I was fortunate to speak with her on occasion on the phone. From the stories shared, I know she was a warm and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, friend and person. She will be sadly missed but truly never forgotten. From my family to yours – we wish you all the best and our sincerest condolences.
To Natallie and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. If there is anything that we can do, please let us know. Sharon & Lionel
Karen & I worked together at CRA several years ago. She sat next to me and I always looked forward to her stories about her family life. With great enthusiasm, she would re-enact the latest humourous incident that had happened the night before–usually concerning Ashley. We had our differences at one time but made peace and soon, we were enjoying those humourous stories once again. I miss her energy and positive attitude. May you, her beloved family, always keep her spirit with you. My sincere condolences to you.

I am so sorry for the loss of your wonderful Karen. I learned so much from her in the few short years I knew her. Wonderful lady with a huge heart. I have such a vivid image of Karen coming down the ice with a big smile on her face and then sitting in the hack telling us what she was going to do with her the shot. And she usually make it!
Take Care,
Tari Moore
