Obituary of PARRY – Karen Deane

September 7, 1955 – June 1, 2011 Karen Parry, beloved wife of Ron Parry of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at the age of 55 years. Karen was born in North Bay, ON and raised in Sudbury. As a teen, Karen was a competitive swimmer and carried her passion for sports into adulthood. Her main passions have been curling and golf for the past thirty years. Karen enjoyed travelling and discovering new places and new friends. Karen is survived by her loving husband Ron; four children, Krista Stewart (Nigel Oakes), Samuel Parry, Natallie (Nick) Lecce, and Robert (Melissa) Stewart; five grandchildren, Ashley Platts, Preston Stewart, Delilah Oakes, Matteo Lecce, and Dakota Oakes; her mother Maeva McPhee; two brothers and four sisters as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Robert McPhee and an infant brother. A Celebration of Karen’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
