Condolences
Gerry and Family
My deepest sympathy on the loss of June, my loving thoughts are with you all. I couldn’t believe it when Ilona rang and told me the news.
June was such a warm, lovely lady and I was delighted to see you both on the few occassions when I caught up on your trips home to NZ.
Ilona and Bob gave me the address of this site when I called around to get your address from them.
Take care and look forward to seeing you next time you are here in New Zealand
Kindest regards
Vera
To Ger and Sandy and Randy and your families We know how much you will miss June in your lives.
Memories of my wonderful trip in 2005 with June driving the motor home will be treasured even more now.
Such a talented and determined lady.
We are grateful June was part of our lives, we will miss her.
In sympathy to family and friends for the loss of such a lovely special person. I will miss June’s kindness and talents through our association of the calligraphy guild.
My sincere sympathy to June’s family. She will be greatly missed by her Calligraghy friends. It was always a treat to talk to her about her hobbies and her travels.
Hi Gerry and Family,
It has been a great 13 years since June and I renewed our friendship. We met at primary school at Mount Maunganui back in 1957. I guess I hadn’t seen June since we were 18-19 until we met at Bobby and Ilona’s with 11 other old school friends. Since then we have tried to catch up every year when June and Gerry are over here. I will miss those get togethers with June.
What lasting memeories you will all have of June through her photography and the CD’s she has made of their trips to New Zealand.
My Deepest Sympathy to you all at this very sad time.
It was an honour to meet June through the calligraphy guild. Even though it was only a few times, it was delightful to talk with her, and I so appreciated her generous giving of time to help a “newbie”.
Gerry, Randy, Sandy and Families

Randy & Family:
So sorry for the loss of your mom. She was such a happy person who just loved her life. Our thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
To Randy & Family (especially to Gerrit, Tyler & Anna):
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you,
The day God called your home.
We know it’s hard for you all, but keep you chins up, as your Grandma will always be with you. Just look up in the sky & your will feel her near.
Gerry. My condolences on the loss your wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
SAIT’s Alive – (Retired and former SAIT colleagues) sends its condolences to June’s family and friends.
June was such a positive, sweet person even when she had her health issues. I will miss seeing her at various Bow Valley Calligraphy Guild events. My sincere wishes of sympathy to Gerrit and the rest of her family.
Gerrit, Randy, Sandy and families,
I am so sad to learn of your loss of your wife, mother and grandmother. I met June through the Calligraphy Guild and have so enjoyed her company over the years. June was always cheerful and smiling, no matter how she felt. She was a talented and wonderful lady and she will be so missed and remembered by all of us at the guild. I hope that in time your memories will sustain and comfort you and help you through this sad time of your life.
Linda Mugleston
To Sandy and your family
My deepest and heart felt condolences to you and your family.
May the pain you feel today be lessened by the beautiful memories of your mother.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Wilma Dodge
At this difficult time, maybe your family can take comfort in that June will be the chief photographer with the angels for the permanent records in the heavens. God Bless.
What a pleasure it is to think about the times we spent with June in New Zealand. We shared the enjoyment of playing cards and having meals together and going places under the guidance and care of June and Gerry. Who would have thought that a friendship started by calligraphy would blossom into this very fine relationship? We will miss June and her creativity so much but we must count ourselves fortunate to have known her and loved her.
