Obituary of SCHEFFEL – Pauline June

June 15, 1938 – May 26, 2011 June Scheffel of Calgary, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 26, 2011 at the age of 72 years. She is survived by Gerrit Scheffel, her husband of 47 years. June is also survived by her son Randy (Dana), daughter Sandy (Jack) and her Grandchildren Gerrit, Tyler, Anna and Thomas. Brother Bob (Ilona) and sister Betty (Colin) of New Zealand. June’s passion in life was photography. Her love of photography started at a young age in New Zealand with the purchase of her first camera, a Leica. She enjoyed a long and successful career in this field working for SAIT as a teacher and for Comm-Media at the University of Calgary as a staff photographer. In her retirement, she enjoyed travelling and taking photos everywhere along the way. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Wednesday, June 1st, 2011 at 2 p.m. You may forward condolences through .
