Obituary of LEGERE – Alice Edna

August 15, 1927 – May 26, 2011 Alice Edna Legere of Calgary, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2011 in her 84th year. Alice was born in Montreal and was the fourth of six children. Her family was the light of her life and she put everyone else before herself. She enjoyed her friends at the Legion and made friends wherever she went. Alice had friends throughout the world and had a smile to go along with it. She retired to the Laurentien Mountains to be close to nature and loved feeding the wildlife, four wheeling and snowmobiling. She moved to Calgary eight years ago and enjoyed her weekend outings with friends and family. Alice is survived by her children, Jerry (Linda Ingram), Linda Grondin (Dwain Hachey), Terry (Diane Newman), Amber (Randy) Rivers and Keith; eight grandchildren, Shaun, Melody, Cory, Tara, Sheena, April, Erin, and Kristin; and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her loving husband Walter and her sister Vera Dempster.
