Obituary of Rita Lynn ROLLINS
April 5, 1938 – May 21, 2011
Rita Lynn Rollins beloved wife of William Rollins of Calgary, passed away on May 21, 2011 at the age of 73 years.
Rita attended the University of British Columbia and the University of Alberta. She lived in Calgary, then 35 years ago moved to Springbank. On June 23, 1964 she and William got married in Banff. She was a legal secretary and a breeder of English Bulldogs and a member of the Canadian Kennel Club and the Opera Society of Alberta. She was fondly known as “The Bulldog Bitch”. Rita was also the editor of the Park Patter News-Letter for numerous years. She loved the opera, reading, classical music and truly enjoyed breeding her beloved English Bulldogs. Rita also volunteered with the Red Cross in her younger years.
Rita is survived by her loving husband Bill; sons Sean (Shawna) and William, daughter Evvi-Lynn (Jaehee); four grandchildren, Andrew, Michael, Holly and Lily; brother Barry (Patty), many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
She was predeceased by her parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Saturday, May 28, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. You may forward condolences through .
