I am very sad to hear of Joan’s passing away. I taught many years with her at Sir Winston Churchill in the English Department. She was a favorite friend, so gentle, good-natured, and caring, and we had lots of fun times together in the staff room. Best wishes to her family whom I’m sure will miss her greatly.
