Condolences
Dear Shirley; We have lost the very best chiropractor. Doug was a kind and gentle person with a wonderful personality. We always considered you both as friends, he will be missed.
Doreen and Vic
I have very fond memories of Doug and Shirley on Cambridge Street when I was growing up across the street at #31. Doug was the first person to recognize I had a “strange gait” and my flat feet. I fondly remember Shirley making cold drinks in the summer and I believe I might have even child sat with their first born. Doug always had a great smile and I remember him fondly. Dear Shirley, Sorry to hear about Doug.
Your large family, children and grandchildren will help. Thinking of you fondly, Bonnie
Dear Mrs. Oke and Family,
Our sincere sympathy in your loss. Jim’s memory goes back to a great young Wolf Cub at St. Paul’s Church in Lindsay (in the late 1940’s). Our thoughts are with you all,
Sincerely,
Jim and Marg Mackey (Lindsay)
Dear Shirley: After seeing the sad announcement in the local paper and after all these years I wanted to convey my condolences. Many fond memories of you.

Dear Shirley and family: Our hearts go out to you at this very sad time. I have so many fond memories of time spent as a teen with you and Doug as you dated in those early years in Lindsay. Your Dear Mom making me switch the light off and on just to remind Doug that it was time that he went home.- – -We wish you wonderful memories and PEACE always.- – Lovingly, Pauline
Dear Shirley
Oh, how my heart goes out to you at this difficult time. I have so often meant to call you, and one thinks there is still time to do so, but I have had many thoughts of you both often…A sad time for your children as well, but I know you are a strong family and will give each other lots of support. Doug was such a lively man with such a sense of humour…….He will be well remembered. Love from me…..
Aunt Orrie,
Thinking of you & everyone out in Calgary during this time. Uncle Doug will be very missed.
