Obituary of OKE – John Douglas

February 14, 1937 – May 18, 2011 Doug Oke beloved husband of Shirley of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at the age of 74 years. Doug was born in Lindsay, ON. After graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Doug returned to Lindsay, where he practiced for ten years before moving to Calgary in 1970. Doug practiced in Calgary for twenty-eight years before retiring in 1998. Besides his loving wife Shirley, Doug is survived by three children, Leslie (Darrell) Stonehouse, David (Kathy) Oke and Richard (Deb) Oke; six grandchildren, Sarah and Grace Stonehouse, John “Jack”, Abigail and Mitch Oke, and Piper Oke.
