Condolences
Lyle wasn’t just a friend of a friend, but a friend of and to many friends. Reconnecting with Lyle was always made easy by his engaging, genuine manner. A big man with a big heart; it was a pleasure to know him.
My memories of working with Lyle for years are all of working hard and enjoying life. He was a good man and a great father. We were lucky to have him in our lives. All my best to those who knew him and miss him.
Kathy — so sorry to hear of Lyle’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

To Kathy – I am so sorry to hear about Lyle’s passing. The last time I saw you (remember our trip to the Maritimes), and you spoke about him, you were so happy and excited about your future with him. My sincere condolences to you and your family. Hope you are doing OK.

To Kathy,
You found the love of your life with Lyle. You were two soulmates from the first time you met.
His eyes lit up when he saw you working at your desk and you were head over heels in love with him. You accepted his family as your own and worked very hard to ensure that they knew you would share their “father” with them. We are very happy that you had time together to make some beautiful memories and we hope they will help you through this terrible time and for years to come. We saw firsthand how very much in love the two of you were and knew there was something special there that the two of you shared. I will never forget all the things you taught me during the time we worked together. Dave and I are grateful to have had you and Lyle in our life.

Farewell old friend. I truly miss our time in university and working in Alberta back in the good old days.
Although I only caught up with Lyle in the past few weeks, after being a friend & classmate at U of M…it was a pleasure to enjoy a few laughs together with him…mostly at the times all those years ago. However, it was great to share what happened in our lives in the blink of an eye that passed between.
Truly sad to see him leave us.
Condolences to family & friends.
We were saddened to see Lyle’s obituary in the Wpg. Free Press. He was a fine person and much too young to pass on. Our condolences to all family members. Jon and Lisa Publow
I had the pleasure of knowing Lyle and working with him directly when I was Project Manager several years ago when Lyle constructed the Co-op food store in Portage la Prairie. His calm and patient manner helped make the project enjoyable. I will miss Lyle. My sympathyes to you and all relations.
