Condolences
Dear Bill, Larry, Lisa, and Randy and families:
Carolyn and I were saddened to learn of Ada’s passing.
Carolyn and I remember our days on Bethnal Green as a time of richness of friendship and neighbourhood. The Droniuks, Henstocks, Robertsons, Pappases, Andersons, Heberts, Bremners, Olsens, Beltzners, Tippets, and a whole bunch of other good people crossed our paths.
We remember that Ada’s charm and laughter was always present at our gatherings. Laughter and warmth was her trademark.
We are fortunate to have been part of her life and have had her as part of ours.
Thanks for your friendship.
Love to you all
Mike and Carolyn Mahoney

I am so sorry to hear my Canadian Mother has passed away. Ada and Bill adopted us the day we arrived in Toronto. Ada’s intelligence, independance, zest for life, she inspired with her energy. Her love to travel and see the world, she enjoyed the little things.
Ada was blessed with so many wonderful experiences and a long and productive life. You must feel blessed as well to have had her a part of your life for so long. I will miss your conversations.
Sorry to hear about her passing :(. She had an amazing life, and now I know where I got my love of Nursing and Biology ;).
She’s with God now, and that’s what’s what in the end.

My late wife Virginia (nee Troyan, oldest daughter of Steve and Betty Troyan of Nelson) was very fond of ‘Aunt Ada’ and we had the pleasure of visiting with them in their home in White Rock some years ago.

Dear Lisa and Larry,
I saw the notice of your mom’s passing in The Globe and Mail on Saturday and it brought back so many memories of old days in St. Lambert and at MacDonald Cartier. Mrs. Droniuk was an imposing figure but always so kind. My sympathies to you and your families at this sad time.

To Larry and Lisa (Droniuk),
So sorry to see your mom’s notice of passing on the weekend. She was always so patient and kind with me when I was a kid. As you know my mother was quite close and very fond of your mom also. I hope you are both well, and can take these sad times to remember all the great times.
Warm regard,

She was an impressive and inspiring woman. Not only do I have the privilege of being a friend of her son Randy and his lovely wife Susan, but I was also in a few of her classes in high school. In my mind, she reminded me in many ways of Julia Child; our own celebrity! And that was a good thing (no apologies to Martha Stewart).

Ada was the best MIL one could ever want! A beautiful lady and wonderful role model… She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
I’m so sorry Lisa. I loved your mom. I know the last few years have been difficult for her, but I just remember the bright, smart, warm woman I knew.
Take care,
Love Kelly
