Condolences
My memories of Ellen (and of course Bill too) will always be her (their) warm and generous hospitality and encouragement no matter what the circumstances. It was always like we had a second home when we came to visit! I am sorry I was not able to make the memorial.
Our deepest sympathy to Dennis (married to my sister Cheryl), to my neice Shannon and nephews Neal and Kevin, and to Murray, Dan, and Brenda and their families.
Jim, Rose, Megan and Matt
To Brenda and family,
Our thoughts are with you at the passing of your mother.

To Dennis, Murray, Dan and Brenda:
Thinking of all of you and sending my sincere sympathy and prayers. Bill and Ellen were very dear cousins whose visits were always enjoyed. I dearly cherish all those accumulated memories. I will not be able to attend the service on Sunday but send my condolences to all of you.
Warm regards
Jenny Harris(formerly from Drayton Valley and now from Edmonton)
Ellen and Bill were among the first friends Murray and I had when we started our married life in Rimbey. We spent many happy times visiting with your folks. Ellen was so calm and welcoming. For years we kept in touch every Christmas. I was sad to hear of you Dad’s passing and now your Mom. I extend my sympathy to Brenda, Murray, Dan and Dennis.

My most vivid summer memories while growing up, are of family vacations to Calgary. Every year the fun times we always had visiting Auntie Ellen and Uncle Bill. Lots of food was always consumed and there was plenty of laughter. I always enjoyed it when I got to go with Auntie Ellen to K-mart and Safeway, sitting in the very back of the big white station wagon. I thought I was so lucky…. and I was to have such a special Aunt.
