Condolences
My Mother, Verna White Herman, went to school with Beth. Beth wrote this in my Mom’s autograph book…
Jan. 10, 1939
Dear Verna,
I thought, I thought,
I thought in vain
And the I thought
I’d write my name.
Beth May.
Not profound but clever and playful.
Brent,
I was sorry to hear about your Mother’s passing.
It brought back many memories of our times together as kids. Remember when we asked permission to build a “hut” in the backyard? And her shock and surprise when she saw the 6 foot deep hole we had dug in her garden. Never underestimate the power of two determined ten year olds.
I was honoured when your Mom and Dad came to my Mother’s celebration last spring. It was good to share a moment of memories with them.
I’m unable to attend the service today but please know you and your Dad are in my thoughts.
With fond memory,
Wayne

Dear Archie and Brent
Beth was a remarkable woman. She lived her life with grace and dignity. Beth had immense talent as an artist. She was also an accomplished athlete, a gift which she passed on to the boys.
Beth has left us but she has now been reunited with her precious son whom she missed every day.
Sincerely,
Barry, Jo-Ann and Kelvin
Dear Archie and family,
Please accept my personal condolence and that of the Calgary Community Network Assoc. on the passing of your dear wife and mother and a good friend of ours. She was a member of the Association for many years. It was always my pleasure to visit her to help her with her computer/internet problems. I admired her smiling face, positive attitude and perseverance in her pursuit of this technology.
Sincerely,
Ed Kuntz
We wish to espress our condolences to Archie and Brent and Family. You are in our hearts and prayers Peter, Doh and Brenda
