Lindsay, Don and Sheila,
Thinking of your mom brings back so many warm, relaxed memories of a time when life was easy, simple and carefree. Hot chocolate around your kitchen table after a cold evening of skating: watermelon rind (sweet) pickles, cookies and milk after four and her mangle for pressing sheets and tablecloths. I imagine I can still smell the fresh clothes. I think our lives have truely been wonderful and we have people like your mom to be grateful to for being there for us.
Dear Sheila and Kel and family
We are thinking about you at this time. It is a great loss when we lose a parent, but your mom will be remembered with love and fond memories. I am in B.C. right now but send my love.
Patricia also sends her love from Germany.
Sincere condolences from Ruth and Earl and Trisha.
Dear Maxwell Family:
Your mom’s big smile in the Herald obits was exactly how I remember her. We had a lot in common — went to Grace Church, went to Earl Grey (altho not at the same time), were both members of Kappa Alpha Theta… But I shall always recall Helen’s dedication to driving a bunch of us girls out to ride our horses, including daughter, Leslie, on a very regular basis. She was a trooper!
Sincere condolences from Laura Brinkerhoff Palmer
Dear Don & Theresa
I send my sincere condolences on the death of your mother. As you know, I worked with her at Wendy’s book store and enjoyed her very much. Kay Rayment
Don, Theresa, Melissa, Kim, Sara+Stephanie,
So very sorry to read of your dear Mom (Grandma’s)
passing. I remember her fondly from her years of visiting the lake. She was a wonderful woman. Nice to think of her with your Dad now.
Love Patti, Ken + family
