It is with very great sadness that Joan and I noted “Bill’s” passing. I was always impressed with his breadth of knowledge, multiple interests and enthusiasm! As the only non-lawyer member of the Linoleum Club, he was always an active and valued participant in the many discussions and debates.
From my knowledge of ‘Bill’s” comitment to his family, I know they benefited from his example and advice. It was particularly sad that his stroke deprived him of his ability to read, which was always one of his greatest pleasures. He was a kind and generous man and a great loss to “Robbie” and his children and grandchildren. As one of his friends, fortunate to have known him, I mourn him with you and wish you the strength to endure this great loss!
