Obituary of BROWNLEE – John Allan

February 15, 1954 – April 15, 2011 John Allan Brownlee, 57, passed away April 15, 2011, with his wife by his side in Calgary, AB. John leaves behind his wife Edme; her children, Francisco (Silvia) and Pablo (Mirna); his children, Elijah, Anna and Daniel; and his grandchildren, Francisco Jr. Edme, Miranda and Ezekiel. He is survived by his sisters Elaine and Linda and his brother Gary. He is joining his brothers, Lloyd and Raymond; and his parents James and Frances Brownlee. John was born February 15, 1954, in Red Deer, AB. He loved to teach, to share and to think. Characterized by a profound sense of truth and fairness, he devoted his career to improving people, communities and the planet. A memorial service will be held at the Bow Valley Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (2526 – 24 Avenue N.W.) on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
