Condolences
Rob and Cathy
I have only just heard about Ida and I am so sorry. Gran (Freda) has just told me. I am sorry that we have lost touch but I would love to speak with you both.
Take care, all my love Emma xxxx
Rob,
My sincere condolences on losing your “Mother”. You were the only thing she lived for and she loved you unconditionally. Ida was my other “Mum”, she was in my life for nearly 40 years, I loved her and already miss her very much. Ida was loved by so many people.
Being an “only child” is very devastating when you have finally lost the last of your immediate family and it feels very lonely. Thursday will be a very trying time for you and I can definitely relate to that, and hope that Ida is now at peace and has joined the love of her life, your Dad, Bill and everyone else.
When someone is taken from us, they are never truly gone for they live forever in our hearts and minds of those they loved and of those who love them. Hold those memories close….
Fran

Will miss my weekly phone calls “my duck”! You will always be in my thoughts and in my heart forever.

We have very fond memories of Ida both in the UK and Canada,we shall miss her. She always maintained contact with her family in England and was cheerful, amusing and a joy to know. She was especially proud of her son Robert, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy, together with her daughter-in-law, Cathy.
Forever in our thoughts, may she rest in peace.
