Obituary of BAKER – Ida Ada

October 12, 1923 – April 13, 2011 Ida Baker, beloved mother and mother-in-law to Robert and Cathrine Baker of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at the age of 87 years. Ida was born in Nottingham, UK. She served as an RN during World War II and was later a manageress of a furrier shop. Ida and Bill immigrated to Canada in the early 1990’s to be with their only son Rob. They resided in Didsbury, then following Bill’s passing, Ida moved to Calgary. Ida is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Robert and Cathrine, three sisters Freda, Georgia, Noreen and families all of the UK. She was predeceased by her husband William “Bill” Arthur and her brother Reg.
