Obituary of KIRK – Peter

May 19, 1943– April 12, 2011 It is with profound sadness we announce Peter’s passing on April 12, 2011. Peter moved to Calgary in 1967 from Hazelgrove, England to begin a new life. He loved Calgary and was able to realize many of his dreams with the wonderful friends he made throughout the years. Football was an important part of Peter’s life and he had the opportunity to play with several teams, including a memorable trip to Long Beach with the Calgary Selects where he met Sir Stanley Matthews. Peter travelled the world for business and pleasure and loved business class. His travels included Europe, Japan, and all over Canada and the United States. Peter was always looking for the next adventure and started his business in 1994. He was truly happy to have this exciting period of his life. Peter wished success for his family and was proud to be Granddad and Poppa Pete to Jake, Kate, Nolan, Sasia, Rene and Teesha. Peter will be missed by his wife Beverley and his sons Peter (Amanda), David (Amber) and Paul (Tina).
