Condolences
Dan Logan was my Art Teacher at Gordon Perdue in Oakville. He encouraged me to apply at the Ontario College of Art, the same school he attended. We had a recent 50 year High School reunion and I heard of his passing years ago. I graduated in Industrial Design at OCA and will be forever great full for him. Nick Nikolov
I just learned of Dan’s passing and am very saddened. Dan was my prof. at Althouse College at Western in 1973. He was like a father to me and our small group of ‘older’ artist students. I am forever indebted to him. I used his words of wisdom continually throughout my 35 years of teaching. I’m grateful that I was able to meet Dan during my life.
Aunt Robin;
We were saddened to hear of Uncle Archie’s passing. My siblings and I will always remember his energy and joie de vivre during his visits to our home. I treasure the watercolour portrait he painted of me as a teenager. Our grandfather, Bruce Logan, always spoke fondly of his brother, reinforcing the importance of family ties.

Aunt Robin,
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Robin, Mike, Pete and Dan. Uncle Archie lived life to the fullest. He will leave a lasting impression on all those he’s encountered throughout his life. So many stories and of course the harmonic playing, legendary. Celebrate his life!

My wife Patricia and I would like to extend our condolences to Robin and the family. We were saddened upon hearing the news of his passing.
Dan and I shared good times in the past, teaching and coaching. I considered him to be a long time friend. He was gracious in giving me two of his artistic works which hang in our home. He will be missed, but not forgotten.

I’m so sorry to hear of the passing of “Arch”. Although I didn’t know him well he was quite the guy and left a lasting impression on everyone who met him. Condolences to the entire family.

I am saddened to hear of Dan’s passing. I was fortunate to be in his art education class of 75. Professor Logan was the most caring instructor I ever had at university. I am still amazed how he travelled to see each of us at our practice assignments located throughout the province twice during the year. I was extremely prepared for my 23 year teaching career as a result of his curriculum. His course was dynamic and inspiring for he really cared. He was the ultimate coach of art education. My sincere sympathy to his Family, whom he spoke so endearingly of. May you find comfort in your memories and each other. You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult of times.
RIP Dan, you deserve it.
I just wanted to express my condolences to the Logan family on the passing of Dan. As a former neighbour and student in Oakville, Dan was an influence in my life that I have never forgotten. I have always thought of him and his many accomplishments in so many areas and of how he impressed on me that we each have those same abilities within us if we take the effort and time to always do our best. I know how proud he was of “his kids” and of how much he always wanted for each of you. I am sure he will be missed by all of you. Please know there are many others that share your loss.
Thoughts and prayers from the Kinneys. Yor father was a great man…happy to have known him.
We still have a sketch he drew of Sharon back in Antigonish.
A life to be celebrated!

I was saddened to read of the passing of Dan Logan. I have many fond memories of him during my youth and I have often thought of him through out the years. He had a zest for life and truly was a renaissance man. I am honoured to say I knew him. My condolences to the Logan Family.
Sincerely,
Bruce & Kris Minty
Robin, please accept our deepest condolences to you and the family. “Uncle Archie” was quite a character, and has left a lasting impression on me. Unfortunately, due to geography we will not be able to attend the service, but please know you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Aunt Robin, I am very sorry to hear about Archie’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the family at this time. If you get the chance, give me a call. I am in Niagara on the Lake, phone number 289-868-9339. Love, Margaret
Robin,
I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Archie’s passing. What I remember most is sitting and listening to his wonderful stories, that he always seemed to be in that moment, as he told them. I still have a sketch of the Minister he drew for me when I was married and will treasure it. And of course, his harmonica playing…
Prayers are with you and the family,
Christine, Daniel and Dylan
