Condolences
To Don and family,
Don I have been out of touch for many years since living in Wildwood and Ernest Manning. Terry Gordon Greg Loudoin Ken McMillan Bob Hornes and so many others. Your name suddenly came to mind today as I was reminiscing with my wife about the good times I had back then.
I live in Australia now and apologise for this belated condolence. My Mom & Dad have passed to and I miss them deeply as I know how a parents passing leaves such a huge hole in your life. All my best to you Don in this sad event of your life.
Warm regards old friend

Dear Patty, Gail, Judy and Don … I came across this announcement late last night and wanted to tell you how deeply saddened I was to learn of Stan’s passing. Please accept these belated condolences, they fall so short of expressing the love and admiration that was felt for your dad. Reading the comments above it’s clear that no matter how long, or how long ago you may have been blessed with knowing Stan, he would impact your life along the way. In the eyes of this high school kid your dad was “larger than life”. He never let the demands of being a high ranking executive obscure his genuine interest in all our lives. It never ceased to amaze me that his love, compassion and devotion for his family would always overshadow his towering physical presence. He was a great friend to my dad and mom in London and years before. 39 years later and it would be impossible to think of London without thinking of Stan and Helen … God Bless … Michael May
I recently learned of Stan’s passing…he was one of the best people I worked with in my entire career. I frequently quote him and think of him.

Gail, Don , Judy & Patty,
We grieve the loss of such a remarkable person. The past few years have been painfully hard on Stan & his family. May he now “rest in peace”. Our family fondly remembers him for his kindness, generousity & intellegence. Joe & I especially enjoyed our visits with him as he walked his loop trail around the neighborhood for exercise. And we remember the many fun times at the farm with you all. We sincerely wish we could be with you today. Not only to share your loss but to remember Stan’s life. Our deepest condolances to you all.
Love, Pam & Joe Ball & Family
Dear Gail, Don, Judy, Patti and families.
We were saddened to learn of your father’s passing and want you to know you are in our thoughts at this grievous time. As is usual in these inevitable situations fond memories of the past are key to appeasement in the loss of a loved one; or, in our case, a friend. It recalls, with pleasure, the warm relationship we had with all the Pearson family, headed by Stan and your beloved mother, Helen. We cherish that affiliation.
Not only as a father, but as a dedicated “oilman” Stan leaves an indelible mark of achievement. Be proud of that, as we are sure you are. Our condolences to all.
With affectionate wishes, Bonnie and Norm, Greh Lindsay and Mark.
To the Pearson family
We were saddened to hear of Stan’s passing. We remember him fondly as a
compassionate, dedicated, accomplished leader in every venture in which he participated. He has left a memorable legacy, and all his many friends and former co-workers will miss him.

Dear Family:
You probably don’t know me from a hole in the ground. I was a Gulf Engineer, got there via Royalite Oil Company. Stan brought the Engineers and Geologists closer together, and his cooperation and advice helped tremendously to accomplish that.
I considered him a good friend and enjoyed our visits at the Retire’s functions. Rest in peace Stan. God’s blessings and peace be with your family.

Uncle Stan has finally been released from his late difficult and challenging years. The important thing for me to remember was his vibrant strength, generous and forgiving heart. I will also remember how important family was to him. Despite many differences he was tolerant and supportive of “Teddy” and Mom thought him a fine man. Our times at the Farm will always be wonderful memories of him for me.
Thinking of you, his loving family, at this time. Love Cheryl
Our sincere sympathy to all your family on Stan’s passing. We were very fond of Stan and Helen – a wonderful couple. We have many memories of them over the years in Cremona, especially through the Cremona Lions Club, Church and Mason’s. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers.

To the Pearson Family,
My deepest sympathies for all of you. Your dad was my God father and lived up to the name in every way. Time spent on the farm learning to ride and long after when my dad (Bob Grier) had gotten ill he was there for us. He will be very much missed but I know he is back again with Helen and without pain. My heart, thoughts and prayers will be with you tomorrow and through this hard time.
God Bless
Elizabeth Grier
Very sad to hear of Cousin Stan’s passing–am grateful for all the times we had together as children. I gained so much from spending time with the family while I was in Pincher Creek. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
AS A ROOKIE GEOLOGIST BACK IN 1951, I WORKED UNDER STAN MY FIRST FEW YEARS AND PROFITED FROM MY EXPERIENCE. STAN WAS A FINE MENTOR AND A GENTLEMAN TO WORK FOR. FRANKIE AND I ALWAYS ENJOYED VISITING WITH BOTH STAN AND HELEN.
