Mr. Cy White was a wonderful neighbour to our family (Jary and Sonia Prokopchuk and children Orest and Lidia) on Rosewood Beach at Lake Wabamun. Jary passed away June 23, 1984 and Sonia passed away December 24th, 2008). My mother and I often shared fond memories of Mr. White and in fact even though his property has changed hands a few times, I still refer to it as “Mr. White’s house” to this day. My family and I still enjoy the cottage and I will always remember Mr. White as a kind and caring friend and neighbour.
