Obituary of WHITE – Cyril Edward Cy

November 5, 1920 – March 23, 2011 Cy White, beloved husband of Joan of Cochrane, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Cy was born and raised in Medicine Hat and educated in Edmonton. He served with the Royal Canadian Air Force for five years including WWII. Cy was employed in the engineering department with the City of Edmonton for thirty years, retiring in 1971. He then moved to British Columbia before moving to Cochrane twenty-one years ago. Cy is survived by his loving wife Joan, a son Colin White, a granddaughter Kursten White, a nephew Ian White and Joan’s family, Ina and Ryan Murray and their son Jordan, Brian and Bonnie Murray and their sons Sean and Ryan A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion, Cochrane Branch #15 (114 5 Avenue West, Cochrane, AB), on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. You may forward condolences through .
