I am so sorry to hear of Elizabeth’s passing. She was a Crown Jewel sister, a
classy lady and we will miss her very much. My Condolences to George and his family.
Bette was a lovely person and dear friend to us. We send our sympathy to George and the family.
George, Wanda & Patricia,
Thinking about you at this difficult time. I enjoyed my time spent with Elizabeth especially on her last trip to Halifax.
Sending my love.
Irene
Elizabeth (Betty) was a real “lady”. My sister-in-Law and very proud of our relationship. A great daughter, sister, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all she met. She loved each person with sincere pleasure and pride. Our friendship goes back to our teen years and the stories/experiences are many. Betty laughed easily, never missed anyone’s special celebration, always had that special gift because she cared so deeply and loved to make people happy. She had a passionate personality especially when it concerned every member of her families. Betty, you made your mark here and left us with wonderful memories. Rest now! Until we meet again in another special place. LUV YOU. Betty-Ann
Patricia, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Your mom is with you all still in love, memories, and family. Let the memories of your mother’s life provide you with the comfort you need during this challenging time.
George & Family,
So sorry to hear of Betty’s passing, both Kathy & I enjoyed our many activities with George & Betty and the one that always comes to mind is after our day sail in HMCS Fredericton and the four of us trying to figure how to get out of the area where we had parked (Betty was driving, this is no reflection on Betty’s driving).
Clearly, Betty had a positive impact on all who knew her and she will be greatly missed.

It is with great sadness I heard about the passing of Elizabeth Muir. Even though I have not spent a lot of time with her I did see how she welcomed myself and my daughter Alicia into her family. My deepest condolences to my father-in-law George Muir, sister-inlaw Patricia Muir, step-daughter Briena Sewell, and Elizabeth’s extended family of Linda, Michael, Liam and Mick Leahy.
Many fond memories of Elizabeth are in my heart from our days together in Red Hats & Crown Jewels. My condolences to George & the family.
George,Wanda and Patricia, so sorry for your loss.Betty will be truly missed. There are so many fond memories to hold on to. May it help you to know that we share in your sorrow. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time. Joe and Muriel Gray.
Thinking of Patricia and her family and sending my condolences for their loss. I know how difficult it is and I hope you will find some solace by being together and supporting one another during this time.
To George, Patricia, Wanda and Briena … our deepest sympathy.
We will hold loving memories of Betty in our hearts forever. She was a dear friend, neighbor in Gondola Point, and special “aunt” to Denys and Jacqueline.

Elizabeth was a very graceful lady. I only knew her through Red Hats and later with Crown Jewels. She was truly a ‘Jewel’ and will be missed by many. May your memories last forever.
