Having worked with Gordie and for him, it was always a positive experience. He had a unique sense of humor and respected those who worked under him, making Gordie a very popular foreman. Away from work Gordie showed the same respect for others-especially those less fortunate than himself and for the elderly. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his most beloved wife Jackie, and daughter Angela.

Sorry Jackie and Angela for your loss but Gord will be a loss for all of us who knew him what a great guy.

I’m very sorry to hear the passing of Gordie. He was a great foreman,and a great friend.He was always a great person to work for.Always cared for the boys .

Meeting Gordon in the same hospital room where our son Olaf been very sick, we will never forget the promise Gordon made to look after our son later on, after he would be free from his kidney decease! This showed us what a wonderfully person he was, but It never came to his promise to help our son! Our son did passed away before Gordon could try to help him! There are now together in a better place!
