Condolences
I was so sorry to hear the news. He was always smiling and cheerful, ready with a joke. I was very lucky to spend a lot of time with him in the years of working the bingo nights for Civitan. We spent a lot of hours chatting, and joking around.
Someone that could give so much of themselves to help others, while going through so much themselves is an inspiration to us all. Im proud to have had him as my godfather. He will be much missed.

Dear Stephanie and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sorrow. In the days ahead, may you find some small comfort in your many happy memories.
I was so sad to hear about the passing of Walter. I truly learned so much from him and was blessed to know him. He was truly an angel and never complained about his own struggles. He always worked so hard for others and made a difference in so many peoples lives. Heaven will be so lucky to have him. I pass on my condolences to the family and know that we are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers. Wish I could be present at the memorial but in lieu have made a donation in Walters honour. God Bless

To Stephanie and family,
I knew Walter during the time that I was Executive Director of the Arthritis Society. Walter was an amazing man – he was dealing with so much pain and yet he was always ready to help and always with a big smile and lots of hugs for everyone. He was a tremendous volunteer – smart, decisive, with true leadership qualities.
Stephanie, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
take care,
Cathy
