Condolences
Ron & Charlotte Hirsch.
Sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. I had many enjoyable years working with Fred at Shell. Both Charlotte and I enjoyed visiting with Marge and Fred each year at the Calgary stampede rodeo finals.
Margaret – Linda and I just heard about Fred’s passing. So sorry for your loss but as Fred’s friend said, “smile because it happened”. It was interesting how our paths crossed in the McKenzie Delta back in the early ’70’s. My dad Gordon had always spoken of you two in such high regard so when I finally ran into this “legendary person” at CMp Farwell, it was a special thrill for the Hare family back home. You two were always so thoughtful in visiting with Gord every time you were in Vancouver and you must know how much that meant to him and us right up to his final days. Our thoughts are with you.

Marg,
We were so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing and we wish to pass on our condolences. Both Phyllis and I know how hard it is to lose a spouse. Fred was a good friend and co- worker for many years.

I was so sorry to read of Fred’s passing. I haven’t see him for several years but he was a great friend back in our Shell days. I met Fred in 1969 when I started at Shell in Edmonton, then promptly was moved to Calgary. Without his help I wouldn’t have had 10 great years in Till’s basement suite, not to mention the hockey tickets he’d give Ona and I, and on and on it goes. He was fun to work with – never a dull moment.
Margaret and Family.
Wishing you Comfort and Peace .
Extending our Sincere Sympathy.

He truly was a guide and mentor to all of us who worked with him over the years at Shell. His wisdom and wacky sense of humor helped us almost every day. He will be fondly remembered.
Never one to mince words you could always count on Fred to tell you what was on his mind and if you were smart you would listen and learn! One of the best from my years at Shell.
Marg; so sorry to hear of Fred’s passing.
To us it seems so fast but I’m sure Fred is glad it is over.
Please give us a call when you are ready.

Marg,
Billie and I were saddened to hear of Fred’s passing! We’re currently on our way back to Colorado from Scottsdale and have fond memories of visits on Sundays, ceasars and breakfasts at Randi’s. Our trip Calgary and the Stampede with Mom and Dad and so many wonderful memories.
We’ll look forward to catching up with you very soon. May God Bless you, love Rob and Billie
Marg, So sorry to hear of Fred’s passing. Dad and Mom always enjoyed there times with both of you in Calgary and then in Arizona. Ellen and I were just in Scottsdale and had great fruit and talked of the times Fred would bring over buckets of great fruits to enjoy and of the many baseball games of our son Tate that you guys came to. God bless you both and are in our prayers.
Jamie and Ellen.
Oh Margie, I’m so sorry to hear that Fred passed away. He was a great guy and Joe and I are glad that our trips to AZ resulted in our knowing you and Fred better. Give me a call when you get the chance. Hugs from both of us.
Marg so sorry to read of Fred’s passing in today’s Herald. He was a super person who enjoyed people and life, may he rest in peace and I know he has joined many of his pals who passed away earlier, take care.
Remembering Fred does bring a smile, especially when it was Grey Cup time or the Calgary Stampede was starting. Fred was very creative in planning for these special events. It was an honor to work with Fred at Shell, he always had a dedicated approach to solving problems and was a valuable team member. Sincere condolences to the Cartwright family.
We would like to extend our deepest and sincere sympathy to Margaret and family on the loss of their loved one. Fred will be missed and the memories of the years will be with us forever.
