Dear Family and Friends:
Thank you very much for your kind thoughts and prayers as well as the memories shared. I am certain that Mom continues to pray for each one of us. We were blessed to know her in this life and we are comforted in the knowledge that Mom now shares in the fulness of God’s kingdom. Love, The Barretto Family
Dear Barretto Family: We first met Rose at St. Patrick’s Parish about 15 years ago. She was always a shining example of God’s love here on earth. Her smile, kind words and sincere concern for others will always be remembered. She was so gentle and kind, so prayerful and grateful. We share in your loss and sorrow. But, our spirits are lifted just knowing that she is now at peace with our Lord and Saviour. God bless you all.
Sincerely, Diana, Nathan and Nicholas Zarich
Our heartfelt condolence to all of you
Tony, Pearl, Theresa, Herman & Lica.
May the wonderful memories of your darling mother and grandmother always keep her near and dear.
Our thoughts are prayers are with you all.
To Teresa, Tony, Herman, Lica, Anna and the members of your families
Please accept our deepest sympathies on the death of Rose. I always made sure that I went to see her during my visits to Calgary. She always welcomed us with an open heart. I last met and spoke with her in April 2009 and we had a few laughs as always talking about fun we had especially in Dar and our families. Also I still remember that I was the chief taster of her Meat Loaf that you all kind of rejected sometime. We will miss her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. May she rest in peace.
Teresa, Anna, Tony, Herman, Lica & family.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. May all the good memories help you get through your grief. May she rest in Peace. Cedric, Millie Abreu & family
My deepest sympathy to Herman, Tony, Teresa and Lica and all of Rose’s family. I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to share for 29 years in your lives. We have so many beautiful memories that will never fade and are forever blessed by all that Mom taught us. We will continue to exemplify all the things she taught us. We will love her forever and will continue to be a part of your lives.
Love

To all members of the Barretto family,
We send you our deepest sympathies on the death of Rose. My fondest memory of her was visiting the family at the hotel in Ngerengere after a very tiring trip from the interior of Tanzania. They were hospitable, kind and caring. She will be missed by many.
Sincere condolences to Teresa, Tony, Herman, Lica, Anna and your familes. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Carmina Dourado, Veronica & Andrew D’Mello
My sincere condolences to you all at this sad time. Mama Rose — ‘ or a Rose by any other name ‘– was a wonderful lady, and will be greatly missed by many. May God bless and comfort you in your sorrow, and bring you peace in your loving memories of Rose. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
We are saddened at the loss of a very dear, humble and lovely person we had the pleasure of knowing.
Our deepest sympathies and sincere condolences to all the families.
May she rest in the peace of the faithful .
Our deepest sympathy to our very dear friends from back-home Tanzania – Teresa/Gerard, late Johnny/Anna, Tony/Pearl, Herman/Karen, Lica/Darrell and all your young families.
“Rosie”/Aunty Rose was a beautiful person – warm, caring, always positive (even when in pain) and with a great sense of humour. We will remember her fondly, and pray that all her family will find comfort in her happy memories and in knowing what a wonderful mother/ grandmother you had.
Yours in sorrow,
Lira and Nirmala

Dear Tony, Teresa, Herman, Lica and family.
In this time of loss and sadness, may your heart be filled with wonderful memories of your beloved Mother.. Bosco remembers her fondly from his days in Dar-es-Salaam, and also when I met her many years ago on vacation in Calgary. Mama Rosie was a remarkable lady.
May she rest in peace.
