I knew Simon from 2003 until 2009,seeing him regularly downtown,he always had a smile and a handshake.he had the legs of a man who spent many many years in the saddle,and I remember his rodeo belt buckle was always shining,like his eyes..He had a kindness,and although small in stature he was huge in presence,There was a dignity that commanded respect,and Im fortunate to have had some quiet conversations,fortunate to have had moments in time with a great man..Rest in Peace Simon.
