Dearest Anna:
I would like to send love and prayers to you and your family. We prayed for your Dad and know that God was with him to take him home. I hope you are able to take comfort in the loving memories you have of your father. I recall your wedding, when he performed the service and how amazingly well he was, at that time. I am certain he was so thankful to be here to welcome little Micah into the family. I know your father left a legacy of love for the Lord with all those he touched. That is something very few people can say.
May God hold you, all, in His arms, and comfort you with the knowledge that he is at home with his Lord.
God bless you.
Love,
Glenda
John is now safely home. His love for his Lord shone through all his years and especially during the last several years of his struggle with cancer. We pray God’s comfort for your family. We are sorry we are not able to be close to you at this time however we will be present with you in our prayers.

Becky, it was so good to be a part of the small group that you and John led during the Winter. John lived out well the theme of our study of living well while having a chronic illness. I will remember the good times and the smiles I shared with John, and I will carry the lessons he taught me of how to live well in spite of the frailties of our bodies. Now I picture John running and laughing with Jesus. Go John, go!! And God, grant your strength and your comfort to Becky at this time.
Hi Becky,
I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was a sweet, lovely man, and I will miss him and his presence at Bow Valley. He did counsel me a time or two and I loved his wisdom, gentleness, and compassion. But rest assured that he is with the Lord now, celebrating his return to his creator’s loving arms.
God be with you and I love you!
Laurie
Dear Becky and Family –
There are no words at a time like this. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. John was a great man and an example for us all.
Love you –
Molly
My sincerest sympathy to all of John’s family in your recent loss of such a decent and wonderful man. You do not know me but I met John at the Tom Baker Center several years ago when we were both in the same clinical trial. He was a very kind and gentle man who did not like to talk about his illness much. I had lost track of him these past couple of years and am sorry for that. I will be praying for all of you to find peace in your hearts and the strength to see you through the difficult days, weeks and months ahead. Share your stories and memories and John will never leave you. Deepest sympathy, Shirley Yewchuk, Myeloma Warrior and Cancer Survivor 8 years.

Sorry to hear of John’s passing.
He and I grew up together in Edmonton and spent many summers at my families cabin at Moose Lake. Lots of good memories and fish stories.
Becky and family,
We were so sorry to hear about John’s passing. We were a part of your early life together, before your marriage mostly. We remember how terribly in love you two were, how much Jack and Billie thought of him. May you be comforted with the sweet memories of his life so well lived. Bless you all,
Jerry and Claudia Chapman

Sorry to learn of John’s death. I am sure that the past decade has had its difficulties. John was a great guy. I remember working on his house in Cornwall near the church. I slipped off the roof and John said he was thinking as he watched me slide down the roof, “I don’t know what we are going to do, he is heavy.” I landed on my feet and everything was okay. I know that the same is true for John in his passing. Our prayers are with you Becky and the family. Stewart and Marilyn.
Becki and John were so very fortunate to find and love each other. I only spent a short time directly with John but Billie, Jack and Becki always talked about what a special man he was. My love and prayers go out to John’s family. Barbara Thornton (Lowe)
Our sincere condolences to Becky and the entire Wilson family. We will always remember with fondness the time we spent with your family when we all attended Northview many years ago. It was a privilege to know such a Godly, caring, and fun loving man as John. Till we meet again, John!
