Condolences
I was shocked and saddened to hear of Gord’s passing. I met Gord through Bestcap a few years ago while ordering apparel for our ski club. I remember a warm and friendly guy who always made sure the coffee was fresh and took the time for small talk too. I’m sure he’ll be missed by all.
My deepest sympathy to Kelly & Family as well as his Bestcap family.

Dear Kelly,
I came upon Gord’s picture in the paper. In my twisted sense of reading the obits, I recognized his face and continued reading. I do remember him being kind enough to drive some drunk people home, without hesitation. You are a kind soul as well and you were perfectly matched. Sorry to hear that he has gone on to Heaven ahead of you, but he probably just wants to hold the door open for you, when the time calls. Your old working pal from Safeway, with hugs,
Rita Murphy
I have this wonderful job at Best Cap thanks to the big guy telling me everyday “Your not going anywhere”
I will always remember the strength he had with all when he walked in the office.
On behalf of the Students and Staff of the Tsuu T’ina Jr Sr High School we are shocked to learn of Gord’s passing, he was a generous and kind man who assisted us in all our school apparel, he was kind and always had a smile to lighten up the day. We have known him for many years and can always be counted on to bring the product in on time………. even when we were late. He will be sadly missed for his humor and kindness our prayers are with his family at this time.
My deepest sympathy for your family’s great loss. He’ll be remembered always for his big heart, laughter and kindness. He will be missed by many.
What an absolutely wonderful friend in every way possible.
Lots of Love – Ron & Max

So sorry for your loss. Gord was a fun loving great guy. An excellent ball player he was, covered 3rd base and prevented many from getting to home plate! He will be sorely missed by the Horny Toads Slowpitch team. Pleae accept our deepest sympathy,
Barry Lassiter & Leslie Hannah.
I too, was very shocked and saddened at the news. Gord was just by a week or so ago and we managed to touch base again after quite awhile. It was so good to see him again. Gord was every much an unconditional friend to everyone. He will certainly be missed.
My thoughts are with you during this time.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Gord’s passing. I have many fond memories of our “adventures” while attending the University of Winnipeg during the early 1970’s where Gord and I were locker partners for a couple of years and participated together in various sports and many social events. Being Elmwood boys, we also shared a passion for lacrosse, competing against each other in the memorable Elmwood Shamrocks vs. St. Boniface Clubs rivalry, as well as playing along side each other on the Manitoba provincial senior men’s team. Gord was a fierce competitor who always gave 100% and could always be counted on to back up his teammates. It was a privilege to have known him. Please accept my deepest condolences.
