Obituary of Gord MILLER

November 4, 1947 – February 1, 2011 It is with great sadness and much sorrow that the family of Gord announces his sudden and tragic passing on February 1, 2011 Gord was born in Winnipeg, MB and later moved to Calgary where he met, and enjoyed his perfect life with Kelly. Gord enjoyed a plentiful life working in the promotions field and financial business, meeting some of the greatest people in this world and having a special relationship with everyone he met. Gord’s mere presence in any room would bring out the best in everyone and his generous and giving heart and soul was seen and felt by anyone who was given the opportunity to be in his presence. Gord was a self proclaimed professional golfer and spent any chance he could on the course especially playing in the Elmwood Sewer Tour and S.O.M.A.A. Tours each year. His greatest loves were Kelly; his family; friends; and everyone he worked with at Best Cap Promotions and Legacy Financial. Dad, you will be forever in our hearts and with us always, we love you. Gord will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend Kelly; his children Aaron, Stephen, Ryan (Kami) and Dwayne; his amazing brother Allan (Diane); his grandson Liam and his cousin Suzi. Gord was predeceased by his mother Marie, his father George, his brother Dave as well as his daughter Jamie. A Celebration of Gord’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
