Condolences
Miller family: so sorry for your loss. I worked for & with John for many years. What a joy it was to be around him. We had a lot of fun on many occasions…even the golf course…he will be missed by all who knew him. Craig
Dear Joan
I knew John from Safeway in Regina. Then met up again with him at the YMCA where we talked about our great Saskatchewan football team along with everything else that was happening in Saskatchewan. I particularly enjoyed his great sense of humour and his ability to listen to other people. I will miss him a lot. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

My condolence to you and your family.
I had the pleasure of working with Mr. Miller at Regent Park Safeway, he will always be remembered.
Joan and family,
We have fond memories of visits and outings with you and John and know that he will be missed by his family and all who knew him. He was a great guy to talk to. He had such a wonderful attitude toward life and we had some entertaining times with him. Fred will always remember “those Safeway times” and working with John.

Dear Joan, Paul, Sharon and family,
To the man who taught me how to measure drywall properly (what exactly is a small quarter?), thank you. John, you were a joy to be around, and you brought a great deal of happiness to many peoples lives. When we get together for our next badminton game, you won’t have that bad knee for us to take advantage of…
Gerry and family
Neil and Sharon we are thinking of you and your family through this tough time. Wish you all the best.
We were sad to hear John had passed away. We had so many fun conversations over the fence when we lived next door in Sundance. Our son-in-law was recalling the time John put Sask. Rough Rider stickers all over his lawn mower knowing Corey was an Edmonton Eskimo fan. He had a wonderful sense of humor and I know he will be missed greatly. I’m sure he is entertaining the angels right now.
Dear Joan,
Our deepest condolences to you and your family. John will always be remembered for his positive outlook and great sense of homur.
Wish you all the best!
Our deepest and sincerest condolences. Our prayers and thoughts are with you and your family during your time of loss.
Our sincere sympathy to Joan & family. Our thoughts and prayers are with
you at this sad and difficult time.
Dear Joan,
I have such fun, happy memories of John! John introduced himself to me years ago at the Shawnessy YMCA and since then I have enjoyed every minute of your husbands’ friendship! Myself, along with many other “young ladies” he charmed at the Y, will miss him so much. He was always so interested in my family, especially my daughters and my eldest daughter smiles every time I mention John as he was such a big tease! I would meet John on the bikes at the Y and we would discuss just about anything (never too seriously though) and he would always have me in stitches! I enjoyed my visits with him both at the Foothills and the Fanning Centre. He was a special person and please accept our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. He will be missed greatly.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Mr. Miller was a great man and I had the pleasure to work with him at Regent Park Safeway. It was 1979 when he came here as the store was being remodeled. He made a great impression on me and I always thought very highly of him. He was able to connect with everyone that worked at the store. He was fun to work with and I still have great memories of our time we had here. He was one of the best!! I’m still working for Canada Safeway and managing the Regent Park Store. Mrs. Miller and the family, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Dear Family;
We were sorry to read of John’s death in today’s paper.
He will live on forever for you and each of us in the many wonderful memories he has left us.
Take care.
As neighbors of John and Joan for so many years, I have many great memories of John. How he and Joe enjoyed their afternoon coffee and lenghty “visits”. Joan, be sure to keep all your memories in your heart to help you to fill in that big hole left there. And to the whole family, I know how much you will miss him. He was a great guy.
Joan & Family
We are so sorry to hear about John’s passing. Had so many good times with Mr Personality at the fieldhouse playing badminton and at our coffee, solving the problems of the world. Will remember him.
Take care Joan
Please accept my sympathies to the entire Miller family. My association with John was through our membership at the YMCA.
Please extend my sympathies to the entire Miller family. My association with John was through our membership at that the YMCA. We had many discussions about politics and sports. I enjoyed John’s knowledge and keen interest in those topics. John had a marvelous sense of humour and always listened to my views. I always came away from a coversation with John feeling that it was a dialogue not a monologue. He will be greatly missed.
Dear Joan
We were truly sorry to hear about John’s passing. Although we only met him a few times, I feel we knew him better thanks to my brother, Ted. Ron and I both felt John was so down to earth and so easy to talk to. Please convey our sympathy to your family as well. There is no doubt that John will be missed by many. I know that Ted will miss him very much. Take care.
