Condolences
Sharon & family – My deepest sympathies to you all on the loss of your mother – may all your precious memories serve as a comfort to you during the difficult days ahead.
Dear Lawrie, Sharon, Ron and David: Our deepest sympathy on the loss of Lawrie’s beloved Helen. And Sharon, Ron and David: in the loss of your mother. Aunt Doreen, as we knew her, was a beloved sister to our mother Ethel. We remember the tremendous excitement when Aunt Doreen and family returned from a posting in Germany and family visits to various Canadian locations resumed. Aunt Doreen carried on her father’s talent in painting. (Doreen and Ethel’s father was one of the first x-ray technicians in Canada). Ballroom dancing was another outlet for Aunt Doreen’s creativity and with her everyday perfect posture and preference for swirling skirts, it was always easy to picture her gliding across a dance floor with Lawrie. When Aunt Doreen met Lawrie she sparkled like a young woman and it is wonderful they shared recent years happily together.
Two very close sisters who once sailed to England on the Mauritana to visit their mother’s family are now reunited and at peace.
Love Valerie and Brenda
Sharon & family, We are saddened to hear of the passing of your Mom. We hope you will find some solace in the wonderful memories of times spent together with her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Our sincere sympathies. Your friends at Laurier
