Condolences
Bobby was a unique, very special, one-of-a-kind woman that brightened the world around her. I feel blessed to have known her. The Pritchard family has been an important part of my life for many years and, although it’s difficult to find the words that say what I feel; I hope that in some small way it helps to know how much I love you all & that my thoughts are with you. May your inner strength & the support of family & friends guide you through this difficult time.
LOVE & HUGS, SHARON
We are so sorry to hear of your Mom’s passing, ThankYou Vicky for letting my Mom (Sylvia Soltek) know. You wrote an excellent obituary of your Mom as I still remember her going out in her fancy fur coats and hats even to pour hot boiling water out on her windshield of her car. I don’t know how many times I thought she would crack that windshield. Also for the wonderful slide show we got to enjoy with your Mom and Dad of Australia.
Enjoy the memories she was a great lady.

My father sent me the obituary of ” Mrs. Pritchard”, my third grade teacher via e-mail. She was an angel on earth so she will be a blessing to heaven. I enjoyed my year with her so much. Mrs. Pritchard was famous on the playground for her cooking. You were considered lucky to get her for your third grade year. One time when we read a story about cornbread, she brought it in to share with us. It was one of the best things I had ever tasted. I went on to become a classroom teacher and the example she set I tried to carry forward. What a lucky family you were to have her in your lives so long.
My name is Jean Keay (but my maiden name was Jean Martin). I live in Hanna, Alberta, but was raised at Delia, Alberta. I attended Newport School and Herb was my Grade 1 school teacher. He gave me a book after I had surgery while in Grade 1, and I found it among my treasures today. He wrote a nice little message on the front page and signed his name.
I just came across the Obituary in the Calgary Herald and put two and two together . . .
Please pass on my sincere condolences to Herb and family.
Sincerely,
Jean (Martin) Keay
Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Bobbie was a wonderful lady and neighbour.
