Obituary of GROSS – Shannon Darcy

April 15, 1962 – January 6, 2011 With much sorrow we announce the sudden passing of Shan D. Gross at the age of 48 years, at his home due to complications from Marfan Syndrome. Shan was born and raised in Calgary. He enjoyed music, the written word, cycling, rollerblading and spending time with family and friends. He made many close friends through his socializing, work and volunteer efforts. He is survived by his sister Pamela Deines, her husband Lyle, and niece Lindsay, the light of his life. Predeceased by his mother Delores Gross and father Donald Gross. A celebration of life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park.
