Patricia’s passing is a great loss to all who knew her and to the disability community who have all benefited from her passion and committment.
Patricia’s passing is a great loss to all who knew her and to the disability community. We have all benefited from her compassion and dedication to making the world a better place.
We were shocked and very saddened by Patricia’s sudden passing. Although we lived in different cities we always enjoyed Patricia’s company when we got together. And now, those of us who knew her and those who benefited from Patricia’s presence over the years have all lost an exceptionally good person.
Patricia’s passing was such a shock & filled me with great sadness. She was so much fun to be around & she saw the humour in everything. My condolences to her loved ones.
Patricia’s passing leaves such a deep hole in our hearts and our lives. All we can do is to try to fill that hole with our fond remembrances of our times spent with Patricia sharing meals, laughter and above all the uniqueness that was Patricia.
Irene…our condolences to you and Patricia’s aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
It’s hard to believe only 3 months ago Patricia was volunteering to get me elected as the Ward 4 Alderman. She came over to the campaign office and kept everyone in stitches with her stories. I first met Patricia through SCOPE – she was always passionate and always articulate – especially about housing needs for clients. Patricia was always about giving of her time and her heart. There is so much to learn from how she lived her life. I can not be at her service but I promise to wear something bright.
I met Patricia one time here in Goderich Ontario last year when she spent some time with Irene at the time of her Grandmother’s death. I admired her wit and intelligence and how she could always see the funny side of a situation.
Irene-we will be your family. I know how much you will feel alone. You have many true friends that you can count on. Blessings
I’m so sorry Irene. Patricia was a lovely woman. I liked her the minute I met her.

My thoughts and sympathies to all of Patricia’s family and friends. I had the great fortune of working with Patricia in the Disability Action Hall and MoMo Dance Theatre. She possessed a keen intellect, razor-sharp wit and (zounds!) mounds of compassion. I’m so much richer for Patricia’s friendship. Rest well friend; love you.
We will always remember Patricia for her wit and good humor. A visit with her was filled with good laughs and intelligent banter. She was one of a kind. She will be missed.
Our thought and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. We shared some good times and laughs with Patricia.
