Condolences
Veronica, Ken, Matthew and Family. So very sorry to hear of your loss. We will miss Grandma being a special part of our spectator group at Matthew’s games. Her pride in her grandson was so evident as she cheered along with the rest of us. She was a wonderful lady, so personable and positive. We hope you can all take solace in the wonderful memories she leaves for you to cherish. With sincere sympathy, the Hiebert family
So sorry to read of your Mom’s passing. I attended a Pastry Chef training program at Sait with your Mom in 1992, ran into her in Edmonton a few years later and we shared a nice visit. She was always so positive and full of energy and very patient with the antics of us young people in class. My thoughts are with your family at this time.

To the Fleer family,
We are all saddened to hear of the loss of your mom. She will be fondly remembered for her undying commitment to the work she did at St. Marks church in the CWL and particularly for us, the support she provided to our mom when our dad died.
I am sorry we cannot attend her funeral mass to pay our respects, but will remember her in our prayers at church.
The Guzik family
It was with great sadness that we heard from Veronica about the passing of this very special woman and friend. Emily played an important role in the lives of our family members and we will all miss her dearly. We will never forget the wedding showers she hosted for my sisters and I and we will always remember the close bond of friendship Emily had with our parents, Roger and Shirley Benard. I am sure that Emily was met in heaven by my own Mother as I know they will continue to watch over their families left behind. Please know that you will all be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. God Bless you all.
Dear John, David, Veronica and Lisa and families
I am so sorry to hear of Emily’s passing. I lived in the basement suite of your house on 22nd Ave NE in 1971, just after I arrived in Calgary to teach at Marlborough Elementary school. Your mom was so good to me and I loved having Veronica and David down for a little visit. Your mom always had time for coffee or tea and a little visit with me. She was such a loving mother and a friend to all. I am sure she loved her little grandchildren too. Remember your mother for all the love she had for you. Sincerely, Carolyn
I am so sorry to hear of Emily’s passing. Having attended grade school 1 through 12 with her children Veronica & David, I remember how welcoming and thoughtful she was to everyone. She baked me a surprise birthday cake when I was 10 just because. I will always admire Emily’s strength and dedication to her faith. She is now resting with her wonderful creator to whom she adored. God bless the Fleer family and all who loved her.
Lori
