My mother and aunt were residents of Southwood Care Centre and we came to know Myrtle through the daily smoking group. Myrtle was a wonderful considerate person with a wry sense of humor. An example was the wearing of her beautiful diamond rings. I never heard her complain and she was so accepting of all that happened around her and to herself. She is now at peace and I hope that she is with my family watching Lawrence Welk on Saturday nites. Sincere condolences to the family.

I feel blessed to have known Auntie Myrtle. Like many others, she also inspired me and warmed my heart in her own special way. When I think of her and my memories of the times we shared; I smile.

I regret that I cannot be there today; however, know that I am with you in heart and spirit.
