Obituary of ALLAN – James Roderick Roddy

November 14, 1967 – December 30, 2010 James Roderick ‘Roddy’ Allan, beloved husband of Jaimie Waugh of Cochrane, passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at the age of 43 years. Roddy was born on November 14, 1967 in Hong Kong to parents Hamish and Margaret Allan. He immigrated to Canada from Scotland in 1996, residing in Ancaster, ON. Roddy, Jaimie, and their sons moved to Alberta in August of this year to be closer to their families. He soon felt at home in the Rocky Mountains, where he spent many hours hiking, taking photographs, and making new happy memories. Roddy is remembered by his loving wife Jaimie, and sons Oliver and Rylen; parents Hamish and Margaret; sister Kirsten, her husband Alex and their son Henry. Roddy was predeceased by his grandparents. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W., Calgary, AB) on Monday, January 3, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Roddy’s Life will be held at Centre Street Church Main Campus (3900 – 2nd Street N.E.) on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
