Condolences
My deepest sympathy goes out to you, Joanne, on the passing of your dear mother. From reading her announcement explaining all her volunteer duties, she will be missed by all, especially those in need.
Conrad and I are sorry for your loss and remember Aunty Shirley so fondly. We are thankful to have seen all of you in September and to have spent time together at my parent’s 60th anniversary. We will be praying for each of you during this difficult time. Love Joy and Conrad Kockerbeck in Arizona
We were saddened to hear that Shirley passed away. She was very special to me and my children. Always giving us a little something at Christmas. We also have fond memories of visiting in Hawaii. I also remember growing up, and going to Shirleys for Saturday morning tea with all the ladies and sitting there watching everybody knitting. She will be missed.
Our deepest sympathy,
Laura, Todd, Matthew, Brynn Michalezki
OUR DEEPEST CONDOLENCES ON YOUR LOSS.
SHE WAS OUR NEIGHBOR FOR MANY MANY YEARS
On behalf of Rory, Colleen, Luke and Jenny Evans, our family offers our deepest condolences on the sudden loss and passing of Shirley. We have very fond memories of our shared family times visiting Shirley in Maui and Calgary and always admired her ease at being a great hostess and her kind hospitality. Her enduring friendship with the Evans family will be surely missed.

We are so saddened by Shirley’s passing. I know Bud is glad to have her back with him.
We have so many fond and fun memories of her from our times together in Maui.
It was always the best times at her famous or is it infamous Super Bowl parties, the pupu parties by the pool, or the surprise birthday parties for Steve. Her renditions of Canada’s national anthem after a few drinks was an expected treat.
Shirley had the biggest heart and welcomed us into the Kahana family when we first came to Maui in 2001, and we looked forward to seeing her each year and getting updates on her life and family. It just won’t be the same without her there this year.
Our thoughts are with you at this sad time and know that in time, the memories you have will ease the pain.
Our deepest sympathy on Shirley’s passing. We are neighbors three doors away at 111 and have appreciated Shirley’s support in developing as a community, despite her health challenges. We’ll miss her a lot!
We are wintering in the southwest US, so are unable to make it to the Memorial Service.
