Condolences
I only knew Cathy from the Hospice Day program and what a jewel she was!!She taught us that love is everything. Also that you can’t control what life gives us but you can control what you do with what is given you so she accepted her fate and she lived each moment to the fullest. She felt she was so blessed by all that she had in her life. She said that cancer showed her how much love was around her and she just basked in all this love. I was privileged to give her reflexology treatments and oh, how she loved it. Her family was everything to her. Many participants in the day program at Hospice Calgary looked to Cathy to help guide them in their final journey and wanted her to teach them how to do it with such love and joy. Wonderful Cathy was so giving to everyone. We will all miss her so much.
I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your wife, Dennis. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time.
Dear Dennis and Family,
We pass on our heartfelt condolences.
It was a pleasure to get to know you both.
Cathy was always cheerful, warm and a real people peson. Even during her sickness she was an encouragement to all around her.
She and her smile will be missed by all, including all in the Bowness community that knew her.
We hope to see you soon.

I am sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. I can only offer what the Bible says can give some comforting hope for the family. Please look up the following scriptures. John 5:28,29; Luke 23:43; Psalm 37:29; Job 14:14, 15; Luke 7:11-17; Acts 24:15.
Good bye Cathy untill we meet agian. I Thank you for allowing me into your heart and sharing your love with me. You have taught me to love and be soft. You will be missed so very much. I hope I served you well and was as good of a friend to you as you were to me.
Jeff, J.C, Rob thank you for including me in everything, I can’t express how important that was for me. I loved your mom so very much. I hope you find peace in her passing as she isn’t fighting any more. You all must know just how much she loved you. She was so very proud of you all.
Dennis look around you and feel all the love that was around Cathy is now around you. Open your heart to help you through this time.
Cathy was our dear friend and she will be missed. The service today would have been just what she wanted, the part where Father Dan read the poem “My First Christmas in Heaven” was so appropriate. Cathy truly would have wanted us to take comfort from that message.
We thank you all for letting us be a part of this day, we will treasure it always. We can see that her memory will live on in all of you. Cathy was certainly a special gift we all received, we feel fortunate to have known her.
Love and Hugs!
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Cathy. My prayers go out to her family at this difficult time. She was a true friend when we attended Teachers College in Regina. We shared a lot of good times together. Although it has been a few years since I last visited with Cathy and Margaret, I have often thought of her. She will live in my memories.
