Obituary of DeAtley – Catherine Jane

January 14, 1947 – December 14, 2010 Cathy beloved wife of Dennis of Calgary, passed away on December 14, 2010 at the age of 63 years. Born to William and Mary Keefe in Weyburn, SK. She was the second of three daughters. Her parents passed away when the girls were young and they were cared for by their Uncle Wally and Aunt Yvonne. She attended school in Weyburn and Regina. Cathy enjoyed interaction with people at work, her community volunteer activities and enjoyed participating and watching figure skating. Cathy was a dedicated and proud mother of her three boys. In 1973 Cathy and the boys moved to BC to start a new life where she met Dennis. Their love and devotion to each other was reflected in their many business ventures. Cathy is survived by her husband Dennis , three sons and their families Jeff ( Cindy), J.C. (Trish) and Robert (Eilidh) and seven grandchildren Jennifer (Ryan), Carrie, Cory, Jesse, Austin, Jordan and Courtney. She is also survived by her sisters Pat (Tom) Davis and Margaret (Roy) Jones, her aunt Yvonne Hall, brother-in-law Robert and mother-in-law Colleen, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, her special friends Crystal and James Bell and the Bowness Community. Cathy was predeceased by her parents William and Mary Keefe and uncle Wallace Hall.
