Please accept my condolences at this time.

Unfortunatley, I will not be able to attend the Memorial Service.

I had the privilege of knowing Eric as a guest speaker to my Law students at Henry Wise Wood Senior High School. He gave presentations on the Polygraph; Hypnosis; and Alberta Labor Standards. The students really enjoyed his presenations and many of them received assistance (through Alberta Labor Standards) in making claims for wages against their employers.

Eric came to my classes for about 20 years in succession

Please know that he and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers at this time

Hello Vina and family. Grafton and I were sad to read about Eric. Over the years we have missed your faces at St. Augustines. You and your family have our prayers during this time of sadness. Hi Vina. You may not remember us as your neighbours in Vancouver when Eric and I were attached to SIU Section Vancouver. We were only there for 2 years and the nature of our work did not always lend itself to much socializing as we were on the road so much. However, I vividly recall Eric as a kind and understanding supervisor who was always there to assist me in my first of many postings with the SIU. Also, Eric gladly accepted the responsibility of sponsoring my wife in her quest to become a Canadian Citizen in Vancouver in 1973,

For that we are forever greatful. Our sincere condolences to you and your family in these, your most difficult moments.

Hello Vina, you and your family have my deepest thoughts during your time of sadness. Eric and I were together at the AFP school at Borden where were had some great times and lots of laughs with our buddies like Sam Nicolson & Ken Thrower. I remember Eric’s famous current whine, Wow! all we do now is remember the “good times” and leave the rest to our Lord. God Bless you all. Jack.
