Obituary of JONES – Eric Charles

May 23, 1932 – November 27, 2010 I lift my eyes up to the mountain, where does my help come from? Psalm 121:1 Eric, darling husband of Vina, father of Craig and Heather, Grant and Cathy, granddad of Sarah and Justin, Ryan and Amy, Erica, Daniel and Isobel, great-granddad to be, sister-in-law Pat and family in Scotland, passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years on Saturday, November 27, 2010 after years of failing health. Eric was born in London, England and came to Canada with Vina in 1956. He was a member of the Canadian Military for twenty-five years and retired from the Alberta Government Department of Labour Standards in 1993. He was a generous and caring man who deeply loved his wife and family. Eric was a good friend to those who knew him and always had a smile or a story to share. His family has many great memories of the time they spent together.
