Dear Cathy and Family,
I was shockened and saddened to hear about Bruno’s passing. Although I haven’t seen Bruno for years, I’ll always remember him as warm, kind-hearted and fun-loving. He was truly one of the good guys. I really enjoyed his spirit in those high school and university years, on the soccer team, and those great ski trips. He will be always missed, but never forgotten.
My sincere condolences.
Bruno was the most patient and kind soccer coach our children ever had. He always thought of the kids first.
Our condolences to you Cathy, Phillip and Alex.
He was a wonderfull man.

As a Cadbury colleague of Bruno’s from the Toronto office, many of my interactions with Bruno were remote, either over the phone and by email, but his warm personality and humour always shone through.
The last time I was at the Calgary office was a year ago this month. I had suffered my own personal loss in June, the loss of my son, and Bruno took the time to reach out and talk with me about the loss, and ask how I was coping. Our sons were in the same age group, and had in common the love of sports. He spoke of both his boys with such love and pride and his compassion for my loss was evident through the tears in his eyes.
So as I remember Bruno, his smile, his sense of humour and his compassion will be recalled. May you find comfort in knowing that he left a footprint on my heart, and I know my life is richer for having known him.
Cathy, we are so sad to hear of Bruno’s passing. We always enjoyed speaking with the both of you when you were out for your walks or at Neighbourhood events. Bruno’s spirit was infectious and he was a joy to be around. Your boys were blessed to have had a father of such great character to guide them. May your cherished memories bring you comfort.
So sorry Cathy, to hear about Bruno’s passing. My thoughts are with you and the boys. I hope to see you Saturday.

Cathy, Philip and Alex;
My sincere condolences on the loss of dear Bruno. Whether it was coaching soccer, welcoming someone less fortunate into his home, or the continual display of love and dedication to his family; Bruno was a man of great character! May loving memories comfort you.
We are saddened to hear of the loss of our Nephew. Our deepest condolences to Bruno’s wife and our two great nephews. I could see a lot of Bruno’s goodness and respect towards the family in his sons Phillip & Alexander. Deepest sympathies to Bruno’s mom and two sisters.
Auntie Maria
I am so very sorry for your loss. My sister, Bonnie (Pelletier) worked for Bruno at Boston Pizza. Bonnie had nothing but good things to say about Bruno. I met him a few times myself and thought he was just such a good, kind man. I’m sure you will miss him terribly, and I will be holding you up in my prayers. God Bless, Nancy Friesen
Kathy, Anita and Family,
In life, one can feel blessed and moved; just by knowing a person such as Bruno Perrotta.
He was a role model husband, father, brother, son and one should all live like Bruno so exuberantly did.
Bruno was charismatic and always after having a conversation with he, you always walked away knowing that something great just happened; in his words and in his being.
Bruno I am just simply honored.
He became a mentor at our little old Boston Pizza that stood on Main street; he was the sunshine in our days. Bruno was wise, funny, consoling and was more than our Boss, he was the pillar in our little tight family that came to be.
I am honored and richer to have known Bruno.
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I write this; May your hearts and souls find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Lisa, Scott, Sloan, Taiga and Gage Pedersen
Please know Cathy that we are sending our thoughts and prayers out to you and your family. When I think back on our choir days when we went every week to BP Bruno always greeted us with a smile and a welcome-no matter how crazy his day had been.
He’ll never be forgotten.
Cathy,
We know your family thru you and wish you and your boys so much to get thru this time in your life that is so hard. Not only do we, but all of the George Mac family send you our thoughts and prayers.
You mean alot to my family and now it is our turn to give back to you and yours.
He will always be the wind beneath your wings.
Our love, Bonnie, Ashley and Jacqueline Rodman
My time knowing Bruno was relatively short but while I worked for him at Boston Pizza, I admired Bruno’s ability to manage a team of people and motivate through his effort. His leadership was a lead by example style that made everyone respect and want to work for him. He was a great man and will be sadly missed, my condolences to the family.
Our sincerest condolences to you all. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers and that caring is all around you. Many others are also thinking of you and adding their strength to yours during this difficult time.
Dear Cathy, my thoughts are with you and your sons. Although I didn’t have the opportunity to meet Bruno, I enjoyed getting to know him through the glowing and happy stories you shared of your life with your love…who you were even willing to move to Fort St. John to be with!! ;-) The story on the two of you in “Airdrie Life” last year was great – thank you for sharing your life with us. Our thoughts and sympathies are with you and your sons; may these many condolences and tributes bring you peace and a gentle reassurance of the love that emanated from your family and was felt by the community.

Cathy, Philip and Alexander,
Bruno was an extraordinary person and I am grateful for the chance to have known him. As one of his colleagues at Cadbury, I quickly came to know him as such a congenial and down to earth person when I first met him in Toronto. I moved back out west four years ago where I was able to get to know him a little bit better. Bruno had that special quality of being able to put people quickly at ease and relate with them so well. His generous nature was clear for all to see, and his approach and passion for life was infectious. He set a wonderful example and standard that I would be proud to aspire to myself. And his pride and love for all of his family was always present. I can only begin to imagine how much you will miss him… My prayers and deepest sympathies are with all of you through this difficult time. I know that his vibrant spirit will endure in those very many people that he touched in his life – a life that was so well lived.

Cathy, Phil and Alex,
It is impossible to put into words how extrmely grateful I am to have known and loved your amazing husband and father. His positive nature and unsurpassed integrity were such a huge help for me when Bruno and I were working through our new positions at Cadbury. His sense of humor and ability to connect with people were such an asset to all who knew him. He will be missed by us all, but you will always be able to hold in your heart the fact that you are better people for being the absolute light of Bruno’s life. He loved his family dearly.
I’m so sorry to hear of Bruno’s passing. The few times our paths crossed, it was such a delight to be able to visit with him. I hope you find comfort in your memories and knowing he always be with you in your heart.
Bruno was a gentle leader with a good heart, and those of us who knew him were blessed to have had him in our lives. My prayers and thoughts are with his family.
We are so sorry to hear about Bruno’s passing. Bruno coached Braden’s and Alex’s soccer team a few years back. Braden said that Bruno was the best coach he ever had. This was because he really cared about the team and allowed them to play and just have fun. They didn’t win alot of games, but that year will always stand out in Braden’s mind as the best time he had playing soccer. This spoke volumes as to the type of man Bruno was and the impact he had on all of the kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I am deeply saddened by your loss Cathy, Philip and Alex. I will never forget Bruno teaching a couple of us new to horse racing the low down on which horse would be the best to bet on. The next year when Bruno and Cathy were not at the staff function – it was not quite as fun. My thoughts are with you through this time of grief.
Cathy… I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I have such fond memories of the laughs we shared in Fort St. John. Deb and I are thinking of you, your boys and your family.
Cathy, Phil and Alex: Words of condolence seem so completely inadequate at times like these. Our hearts go out to you all and our thoughts are with you. If there is anything we can do for you – however small – don’t hesitate to ask.
Cathy, Phil and Alex
We are very saddened for your loss. I have brief but great memories of soccer with Bruno and enjoyed very much your enthusiasm for the Monty Python New Year’s Eve party. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.
Dear Cathy and family, I am very sad to hear of Bruno’s passing. Since I was a small child I always remember Bruno taking the time to ask how I was doing. I have fond memories of the times we spent at family gatherings, the laughs we shared with Grampa Perrotta playing cards. He had a kind and gentle soul. He will be deeply missed by all of us. Thinking of you and the boys.
Deb, Dave and Taylor
