I too have very fond memories of Uncle Rollo. I remember being in the hospital and one night – who comes bounding in but Uncle Rollo – all smiles and cool in his black leather jacket. Sure brightened up the joint! It meant a lot to me.
He will be missed. My thoughts are with his family, including my cousins Terri, Wendy, and Jim.
Chris and family,
Unfortunately we are out of the country and unable to attend Rolly’s funeral.
We do want you to know we are thinking of you and offer our heartfelt condolences at this difficult time.

Dear Chris – We were saddened to hear that your precious Rolly is on the next journey of life but the knowledge that where he is now is beautiful and peaceful helps to ease this a little. We hope this ache in your heart and soul will ease soon and be filled with many happy memories of your lives that you have shared for so many wonderful years. May his peace be sweet and your heart soon be eased of the sadness that it bears at this time. All our very best and with deepest condolences, Penny and Dennis Zeeb
Although we were not good friends as a fellow police officer I had the utmost respect and admiration for Rolly Fisher. He was a fair man and treated everyone accordingly. He will be missed. Our condolences to the family.
To Chris and family – my voice is one of long time ago – I knew and worked with Rollo circa.1961/68. He was a most decent and professional guy – a pleasure to work with. He was strong in his views – fair in his work. My wife and I offer our sincere condolences and prayers in his new journey. It was my privilege to have known him. God Bless
Very sorry to hear about your loss. I have several fond memories of Uncle Rollo. The Fisher’s and the Kerr’s used to get together each year over the holidays. It was a great time which I always looked forward to. I remember Uncle Rollo as a fun loving and caring man, who always made us feel welcome. The world is a lesser place without him

I had the pleasure of working with Rolly several years ago when we were both employed by the Calgary Police Service. I extend my sincere condolences to his family. Rest in peace Rolly.
My deepest sympathy to you all, unfortunately I will be in Arizona for the service, otherwise I would have been there. Rolly and I had some interesting conversations when I was President of the Police Association and he was an Inspector and although we were sometimes at odds he was fair and respectful of the position I took. I know he enjoyed our bouts as much as I did and at the end of the day he always took the high road. Rest in peace my friend.

Always a smile always a joke that was Rolly, it was a pleasure to be in his company. Never to be forgotten, we pass this way only once, he left huge pleasureable memories of our Drug Squad day’s.
Rollo was my cousin who looked after me forever. I will miss him very much. He knocked out my front teeth teaching me how to ride a bike at a very early age of 5. He used to drive the truck in his early years for his Aunt Doris my mom. I would go along for the ride. We use to do the laundry for the Stampede Football team in the old days and Rollo would say “Diane you go into the locker room and pick the football ball player you like the best” and then laugh and laugh. I could never figure out why he laughed. I never went in. Rollo was lots of fun and I will miss him very much.
