Obituary of CHOLLAK – Joseph

It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Joseph Chollak at the age of 84. He was surrounded by the love of the family that he was so proud of and dedicated to. Joe will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his wife of sixty-two years, Norma; his four children, Brenda (Ron), Grant (Deb), Karen (Brian), and Scott (Sherry); ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Joe is also survived by his three younger siblings, Mary, Matthew, and Donald, all of the United States. Joe enjoyed his long career of railroading with the CPR. He was always in awe of the scenic countryside on his many rail trips. His true love was his wife, family, and church. Joe received exemplary care for many years from the various healthcare providers, enriching his life. A special thank you to the Foothills Hospital and the Foothills Country Hospice for his care in his final days. To respect Joe’s wishes, a Family Service will be held. Family Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery. Condolences may be forwarded through .
